Grant Program

The founding of Brett’s First Responders has been a tremendous journey in healing and evolving when times have felt darker than ever. We feel so blessed to be able to give financial support to first responders and their families in their times of need.

 

Recently, we added an opportunity for fire departments and police departments to write a grant to establish or improve an explorer or youth training program. These programs can go by many names but we want to fund programs that encourage young people to explore becoming a police officer or fire fighter.

Brett was a veteran of the Swansea Fire Department and was a leader in their explorer program. He enjoyed the weekends of staged fire calls, comradery, and training in the hopes of inspiring young people to join a fire department.
